Pastor Mackay has a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Theology and has been been working in full-time ministry since 1992. He started the Metro Baptist Church in 1999 and has been faithfully serving the people of Burnaby ever since. Pastor Mackay's wife, Lisa, works alongside him in the ministry. Together, they share a passionate love for Jesus Christ, their four children, their six grandchildren, their church family, and the city of Burnaby. Mrs. Mackay serves as the principal of the Metro Baptist Learning Centre.
Pastor Tyler has a bachelor's degree in Pastoral Theology and a master's degree in Ministry. He is currently working on a Master of Divinity degree. He has been serving in various roles at Metro Baptist Church since 2017. Having grown up in Burnaby, Pastor Tyler hopes to stay here for the rest of his life. He and his wife, Mrs. Aundria, are passionate about leading Metro Student Ministries, as well as GAM (Gospel Advance Mission) and the INTERCESSORS Ministry. Mrs. Aundria serves as the Grade 1-6 Sunday School teacher.
Ms. Xu has a bachelor's degree in Psychology, a BC Teaching Certificate, and a master's degree in Christian Education. Since 2017, she has served in a variety of roles at Metro Baptist Church. She works full-time as a teacher at the Metro Baptist Learning Centre, serves as the church's main pianist, leads the Children's Choir, and organizes special music.
