Pastor Russell Mackay, Senior Pastor
Pastor Mackay moved to Burnaby in 1999 with his wife Lisa and their 4 children and started the Metro Baptist Church. Each week at Metro Baptist Church Pastor Mackay urges those who visit the service to consider Jesus Christ – His Life, His Death & His Resurrection. He also challenges Christians to walk closely with God in obedience to the Bible. Pastor Mackay desires to help individuals of any age, families, teens, and children through practical Bible preaching and teaching. Pastor Joshua Towns, Assistant Pastor
Pastor Towns and his wife Erin moved to Burnaby in 2008 to serve at Metro Baptist Church. They have recently become parents. Pastor Towns leads our music ministry, assists the pastor, preaches, and actively serves in our children and teen ministries.
Pastor Joshua Mitchell, Youth Pastor
Pastor Mitchell moved to Burnaby in 2008 to serve at Metro Baptist Church. In 2009 he married his sweetheart Kristen. He and his wife serve the teenagers of our church. They love teens and the teens love them.
