WORSHIP SERVICES
Pastor Mackay’s pulpit ministry reveals his burden for today’s families. Practical, biblical solutions to today’s problems of child rearing, marital conflict, family finances, and more are presented from the Word of God. If you have wondered whether life could have more meaning, or your walk with God be more victorious, why not attend the services and listen with a receptive heart.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Every Sunday morning we have classes for children ages 2 thru grade 9. On Sunday evenings at 4:30pm we have a class for teens in grades 10-12. We would love to have your children join us! Here is what they can look forward to each week:
- Learning Biblical principles to build their life upon
- Teachers who genuinely love their students
- Great friends
- Wholesome environment and loving atmosphere
- An opportunity to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Learning truths to practically apply to their lives
TEEN MINISTRY
Our goal in our teen ministry is to equip our young people to follow God’s perfect plan for their lives. Our emphasis is not to entertain -though we have a blast doing that. Our emphasis is to teach teens the commandments and principles of God’s Word and help them live these principles in their everyday life. We have great activities throughout the year as well as a teen camping trip and Bible camp each summer.
FAMILY MINISTRY
Every year we offer a parenting class to help equip parents for their greatest job here on earth- rearing children. We also strive to offer resources, retreats, and preaching on marriage. It is our desire that the families of Metro Baptist Church have “happy” marriages that please God.
MASTER CLUB
This club is loved by all of our children who attend it! It is held every Sunday night from 5:45pm to 7:30pm. The purpose of Master Club is to train children to serve the Lord, based upon their characteristics and their capabilities. The goal is to help children do now what they are capable of doing for God, and instil in them a desire to serve Him in some ministry role all the days of their lives.
SENIORS MINISTRY
We have some of the most wonderful senior citizens in our church. Our church calendar has events throughout the year just for these wonderful people. If you are enjoying your “golden years” we invite you to come meet us and enjoy serving the Lord with us.
